The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is a result here of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The support place produced for intervention encounters a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more means to allow the servicing of all consumers and boost access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
